A few years ago, as an early champion of Microsoft Teams, I was asked to be featured in a Q&A interview to discuss the features and benefits of using Teams for remote work and collaboration. I emphasized the platform's ability to bring teams together to facilitate communication and productivity, as well as its integration with other Microsoft tools and services.
We acknowledge that we work and reside in Treaty 7 Territory, the home and traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney-Nakoda Nations, including the Goodstoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw, and the People of Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. Our clean drinking water comes from the Bow and Elbow rivers and is processed at the Bearspaw plant on the land of the Stoney-Nakoda Nation and the other Peoples of Treaty 7. Though we reside in Treaty 7 territory, our work takes place virtually across the world and we acknowledge and thank the Indigenous Peoples of all lands and we are committed to fostering relationships with Indigenous Peoples and their Communities. We encourage all visitors to our website to learn about the Indigenous Peoples whose traditional lands they reside on, and to support their communities and local initiatives.
